Canton Tower

Canton Tower, formerly known as Guangzhou TV Astronomical and Sightseeing Tower and also known as Guangzhou Tower, is located in the intersection of the Pearl Riverl and scape axis and the Zhujiang see sighting line. It is 600 meters high and makes it the newest and highest landmark of Guangzhou. The form, volume and structure of the twisted and tapering tube are generated by two ellipses. The tightening caused by the rotation between the two ellipses forms a ‘waist’, which shapes a sexy slender female character rarely seen in historic skyscrapers.
