DALTON, Ohio — More than 1,100 retail buyers from the U.S. and Canada are expected to attend this week’s Ohio Hardwood Furniture Market, featuring domestically manufactured furniture.
More than 80 furniture builders from the region will exhibit at the trade show in the Buckeye Event Center, 624 Henry St. in Dalton on April 2-3.
Show hours will be 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday. A cafeteria-style lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day.
The Hardwood Furniture Guild is hosting the show in Ohio’s Amish country, an area with what organizers say is the largest concentration of hardwood furniture builders in the country. Companies at the show offer consolidated shipping options, surprising variety, cost-effective customization, responsible stewardship of natural resources and standardized wood coatings, officials said.
