The Charleston area’s newest craft and home decor store is ready for business.
Hobby Lobby will open its second Lowcountry store with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening at 9 a.m. Feb. 29 in North Charleston. David Anderson will serve as store manager for the Oklahoma City-based company’s 15th shop in South Carolina.
At 55,000 square feet, the store can be found in the Promenade at Northwoods shopping center across from Northwoods Mall on Rivers Avenue.
“The success of our stores in South Carolina is a good indicator that area shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” said John Schumacher, Hobby Lobby assistant vice president of advertising.
The company boasts 700 stores across the nation, offering more than 75,000 products. The shop will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it’s closed.
Hobby Lobby has another local store in Mount Pleasant.
