Home & Gifts fairs Reschedule Due to COVID-19

In the current context of the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, some of the most anticipated Home & Gifts fairs have to postpone or cancel. Here is the current status for many of them, which we will continue to update regularly.

 

Canton Fair is postponed
The Canton Fair, has been suspended over concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, no new date for the fair was announced. The decision was made after considering the current development of the pandemic, especially the high risk of imported infections.
Originally planned for: April 15

 

Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts is postponed
The Jinhan fair (Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts) , which is very close to the time of the Canton Fair, has also been postponed. You can still get new inspiration through the online showroom of the website.
Originally planned for: April 21-27

 

HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair are postponed
Considering the current development of the novel coronavirus outbreak, and in line with the health measures taken by the Hong Kong SAR Government, a decision has been made in consultation with industry representatives to reschedule eight HKTDC trade fairs originally scheduled for 6-30 April 2020.
Originally planned for: April 6-30; now scheduled for: July 25-28

 

Milan’s Salone del Mobile is postponed
With Italy suddenly transformed into the epicenter of the outbreak in Europe, the organizers of Salone del Mobile, the design world’s most important furniture fair, have decided to postpone their April edition to June 16–21, 2020.
Originally planned for: April 21-26; now scheduled for: June 16-21

 

High Point Market is postponed
At the beginning of this month, High Point Market Authority announced that its spring fair would proceed as originally scheduled, a decision that the organization’s president is standing behind. But on March 12, the sprawling North Carolina go-to for the home-furnishings market, was postponed to early June.
Originally planned for: April 25–29; now scheduled for: June 12–14

 

Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair is postponed
Sphere Exhibits, the organiser of Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair, Office Expo Asia, and PrintPack+Sign, originally scheduled for 15 - 17 July 2020, has been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak at local and global levels.
Originally planned for: July 15-17; now scheduled for: September 23-25

 

The Inspired Home Show is canceled
Owned and operated by the International Housewares Association, the former International Home + Housewares Show, held annually at McCormick Place in Chicago, is the largest housewares gathering in North America. Given its vast international audience, it’s been canceled until next year.
Originally planned for: March 14–17

 

Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show is postponed
Another March design event to scrap its plans thanks to the growing outbreak in the U.S. The Floridian industry staple was supposed to take place starting March 27.
Originally planned for: March 27-29; now scheduled for: TBA

 

Istanbul International Home Textiles Fair is postponed
All the national and international exhibitions, planned to be held in Turkey between the period March 16-April 30 within the 2020 fair calendar, have been postponed by the Ministry of Commerce in accordance with the decision of the Scientific Board of the Ministry of Health on March 12, 2020 to be organized after the period May 1, 2020.
Originally planned for: March 16-April 30; now scheduled for: August 25-29

 

Shenzhen International Furniture Fair (SIFE) is postponed
Planned for March 18–21 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, this show, held annually in the southeast China metropolis, has been postponed, with rumors that it will now happen in June.
Originally planned for: March 18–21; now scheduled for: TBA

 

China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) is postponed
The 45th rendition of this massive Guangzhou show, originally primed for March 18–21 at the Canton Fair Complex, has yet to announce replacement dates.
Originally planned for: March 18–21

 

The Architectural Digest Design Show is postponed
This expansive showcase of furniture, accessories, lighting, and kitchen and bath products, peppered with seminars and culinary demonstrations, has been rescheduled from March 19–22 to June 25–28 at New York’s Pier 94.
Originally planned for: March 19–22; now scheduled for: June 25–28

 

ASD Market Week is canceled
As a result of Nevada declaring a state of emergency, ASD Market Week, which had been scheduled for March 22-25, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, has been officially cancelled.
Originally planned for: March 22-25

 

Design Shanghai is postponed
One of Asia’s premier design events, the seventh installment of Design Shanghai, spanning the contemporary, classic and luxury, collectibles, kitchen and bathroom, workplace, and new materials and applications realms, has moved from March 12–15 to May 26–29 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
Originally planned for: March 12–15; now scheduled for: May 26–29
