The Global Christmas Purchase Season Begins – the 28th Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts’ Grand Opening
2013.10.21
The 28th Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts opens today at Poly World Trade Center Expo with its brand new look, starting the global Christmas purchase season. Approximately 50,000 buyers from over 160 countries & regions are expected. Biggest in scale, the Fair this year covers an area of 81,000 square meters, has more than 700 exhibitors, and continues to attract industry leading brands such as Fujian Minhou Minxing, Quanzhou Nanyang, Shenzhen D’Sily, Zhejiang Neeo, and Shanghai Sincere.
The Fair keeps pushing China’s home & gift manufacture industry to the international market, and exhibits products from six major categories: home Decorations, Decorative furniture, Seasonal decoration, Outdoor & gardening series, Gifts, and House Items. Galleria which was started last year is expanding this year for more suppliers from provinces like Guangdong and Shandong. Picture producer Zhejiang Wadou and crystal decoration leader Zhejiang Mocrystal, as well as many other famous enterprises, such as Taizhou Jane Collection, Dalian Harvest, and Chaozhou Pheoya, will make their debut in the Fair.
Records show that the first day’s top 5 visiting buyers are from U.S., Germany, Italy, France, and Hong Kong. Buyers from Europe and U.S. are basically of the same number of last session’s, and still are the main force of the Fair. At the same time, Russia and Brazil are coming strong in the escalating people count.
Big buyers Hobby Lobby from U.S., Gilde Handwerk Macrander and R+W from Germany, J.J.A. from France, and Coach House from U.K. visited the Fair early in the morning. They’ve always made Jinhan Fair the first stop of their itinerary in China.
Peter from PNC Import Australia, a returning buyer, said,“ In every Jinhan Fair, we stay for 4 to 5 days and plan our sourcing. 70% of our orders were placed here. Although the market is not getting any better, we are not cutting our sourcing budget.” Given the current market condition, he thinks “the most important thing is to keep proactive, control the quality, and make good products with suppliers”.
Two business seminars will be held concurrently. Fast Forward: A Future-View of Interior Trends in the afternoon of 23rd will disclose the latest interior design color, shape and material trends, providing inspirations for exhibitors’ new season product design and release. Global Trends and Requirements on Chinese Suppliers in the morning of 24th will give China’s suppliers export insights from buyers’ point of view and solutions to deal with the latest international market trends.
The organizer will continue to improve its service, adapt to the international market, and provide exhibitors and buyers a better and more convenient trading environment and service platform.
