Midwest-CBK Splits into Two, Distinct Brands

CANNON FALLS, MN—In 2014,Midwest-CBK, producer of holiday, seasonal and home decor designs, will serve customers under two separate and distinct brands: CBK home and outdoor décor and Midwest Seasons holiday and seasonal.

Dick Duff, Midwest-CBK general manager says that the separate distinction of the two brands will help strengthen each division's long-standing and trusted reputations. "Two great, heritage brands are now two great, new brands. The Midwest Seasons and CBK teams have worked hard to develop two distinct entities that better serve our customers' needs, and the designs they have created for these collections are more inspired than ever before."

CBK - Inspired Home, the 35-year-old CBK brand offers products designed, crafted and curated to celebrate artistry and encourage sourcecountry handicraft. The 2014 collection showcases bold, bright colors, rich textures, natural and recycled materials, as well as prints and patterns designed by artists Amy Rice, Casey Stippick and Anna Griffin. There Inspired Home collection has 1,000 items allocated to seven distinct lifestyle collections and four home accent categories, which include indoor and outdoor occasional furniture; home accessories such as lamps and chandeliers, clocks, and mirrors; tabletop, including hand-painted dinnerware, vases and trays, as well soft goods, including pillows and throws-a new category for CBK.

The Midwest Seasons - Tradition Reimagined brand will offer holiday and seasonal decorations featuring fresh fashion-forward designs with some nostalgic elements. The January launch includes more than 2,000 designs for home decorating, entertaining and gift giving featuring art from inhouse artisans and nationally recognized surface and pattern designer Jessica Swift.

The new CBK and Midwest Seasons collections will debut during the winter 2014 markets in showrooms across the country including AmericasMart Atlanta (Building 1, Suite 16A7), Dallas World Trade Center (Suites 407 and 409) and Las Vegas World Market

Center (Building C, Suite 999).
